Michael Snyder
Mike brings a long successful career to our Board. During that career, Mike has distinguished himself with his 30 year tenure at ADT Security Services, the world’s largest provider of electronic security systems and services, a subsidiary of Tyco International Ltd. He served in a variety of positions and roles within ADT spanning Sales, Sales Management, Operations Management, and was V.P. of Marketing during the creation and launch of ADTs very successful residential business. He was promoted to the role of President and Chief Operating Officer for North America from 1997 to 2006, growing the company over 500% to a record $3.9b in revenue.
From 2006 to 2007 he was Chief Executive Officer and a director of Vonage Holdings Corp., a provider of voice-over internet protocol technology enabling voice and data communications over broadband networks. During his tenure, he was responsible for taking Vonage public in a very successful IPO.
Since leaving Vonage, Mike has been involved with his firm GSC Consulting , a firm working with security and service firms facing a variety of issues and as a consultant to Private Equity. He also serves on several Boards in the consumer food products, software, and manufacturing sectors, as well as serving as Chairman of the Board of the International Swimming Hall of Fame.
